This is the best doctor and medical staff I have ever met. Pain? Come and see them and they will take care of you. From start to finish, my three surgeries were all 5 Star. Dr. Bidiwala was relentless with his care. His team didn’t miss a beat. The surgical team were all top notch and Methodist surgery center has the best care as well. Friendly, professional, and just an outstanding staff all the way around. Nurse Nicole ROCKS. PA Snow - the absolute sweetest and excellent with her follow up care. I was recently talking with a friend about how much I admire Dr. Bidiwala for the exceptional care he provided to my mother when she was diagnosed with a brain tumor several years ago. During that conversation, I realized I had never expressed my gratitude, and I wanted to change that. Dr. Bidiwala gave my mother a second chance at life. His extraordinary surgical skill was matched only by his compassion and genuine care for our family. From her diagnosis through surgery and every follow-up visit, he gave us comfort, confidence, and hope during one of the most difficult times in our lives. Unfortunately, I had to have back surgery last April (2021). Dr. Bidiwala and his medical team performed that procedure superbly and without any difficulty. The aftercare was also well organized, timely and done with my best interest. I am confident that the care given to me is just standard for all of his patients. The office staff are all very kind, courteous and helpful. I am truly Blessed to have Dr. Bidiwala as my neuosurgen, he is passionate about quality care for his patients; very knowledgeable, concerned and uses humor to settle nervous patioents such as I was before I met him. Dr. Bidiwala performed my brain surgery this summer. He did an excellent job and related to my family very well. He addressed all their concerns and the followup care has been amazing. Since this review I have had follow up visits and concluded Dr. Bidiwala is an excellent doctor. He is reassuring, knowledgable, and takes time with his patients. When I was hospitalized in 2017, I was struck by the admiration every person had for him, both medical personnel and regular people included. That continues to this day, in his waiting room! This speaks volumes for the level of well deserved respect for him personally and for his expertise about the subject at hand. ~ Nancy C

Dr Bidiwala is a master of his trade. He truly cares about the well being of his patients and will only proceed with a procedure if it is truly the best option. I am a physical therapist and 1st met Dr Bidiwala about 9 years ago, at which point surgery would not of been the best option for me...my symptoms eventually worsened to when I had new imaging completed and saw him last year, at this point it was necessary for me to have a multi-level anterior cervical diskectomy and fusion. I have refereed a friend to Dr Bidiwala as well who have also experienced a good outcome. This is a gifted neurosurgeon who will have your best interests in mind! ~ Matthew H

I was in very severe pain when I got to the Hospital that Thursday morning at 8:30, the pain was so severe that I had lay’d flat on my back for 7 days prior to the surgery, was the only way to get the pain to a tolerable point, surgery was to begin at 11:30 which it did and for 3 hours Dr. Bidiwala repaired me, had 1 ruptured disc, 1 damaged vertebrae and extensive nerve damage. Was in the recovery room for a short while and was a taken from there to my room that was nicer and larger than any upscale Hotel room I’d ever been in, all the Nurses were the absolute best, couldn’t have hand picked any better!!! I would hope that everyone would have as good or better experience than I had, although it would be hard pressed to be better, Dr. Bidiwala is the Best, bar none, he’s a very kind, genuine and humble man that truly cares, as does his team, couldn’t have asked for a better experience!!! Dr Bidiwala is a amazing doctor and he really takes great care of his patients, he did brain surgery on my brother yrs ago and did back surgery on me this past December 2025 and i couldnt ask for a better doctor, he had my back from day 1 and still checks on me to see how Im doing, and has the best bedside manors Ive ever had and Ive had 5 spine surgeries and by far Dr B is the best, and he will forever now be my go to for spine help, Thanks Sir for helping me, its hard to be a disabled vet and get good Doctors but I struck gold by finding you, your the best 5 stars ~ Randy J

Yes Dr.Bidiwala is the best surgeon doctor there is n of course My God n him I was in a wheelchair ready.Bidiwala 15 months due to an injury I had causing a neck spine compression with my body numb very serious injury I found Dr.Bidiwala I had my surgery done 9-18-25 today 10-29-25 I’m in no wheelchair walking with a walker getting better n better every day doing things I could not have done before thank you Lord Jesus Christ n Dr.Bidiwala for all u have done for me very very thankful for everything Dr.Bidiwala very grateful n recommending him for any kind of surgery like mine Ms.Rita Luna ~ Rita L

Dr Bidiwala was recommend to me by a friend. At my first visit, he talked to us to be sure we understood the procedure. We did not feel rushed or or pushed to make a decision. And the office staff were all wonderful. Dr Bidiwala did my back surgery at the Baylor Uptown Surgery Center. Everyone I was in contact with made you feel like I was the only patient. Although I'm still recovering, I feel so much better. And the surgery center was so attentive and has called to check my progress since coming home. DR.BIDIWALA,FIXED ME 7 YEARS AGO, MY NECK I WAS IN SUCH PAIN I COULD NOT STOP RUBBING MY ARMS THEY HURT DO BAD. WHEN I cried my kids knew it was bad. Dr BIDAWILA fixed me then all is Good. Then about a year ago I started having sciatica pain it never went away on top of neuropathy that hurt daily and at night unbearable.I went to see him again. He just did surgery on my messed up lower bad,fusion and such.Fixed me ,I feel such better just 6 weeks out. Oh did I say I'm 74,but get around like a 50 year old. The office staff is terrific and the dr was fantastic. He explained everything before the surgery and after surgery. I was given the best care at his office and hospital. It’s very rare to find that kind of professionalism. Thankfully we had no complications or problems. We highly recommend Dr. Bidiwala and Methodist hospital in Addison. I just had my second post-op with the doctor and found out that one of his PA’s also assisted in our surgery which I think is so awesome! I highly recommend Dr. Bidiwala and his team! ~ Cindy W

This incredible Dr. Bidiwala is most definitely walking in his gifting. He is concerned, caring, and available for his patients. He makes you feel as though you're the only patient he has. He is conservative sinus treatment. For me, he did the most minimally invasive procedure and I am amazed at the relief that I have been blessed to experience I wholeheartedly recommend him to any and everyone. Dr Bidiwala saved me from permanent disability. I had herniated L3/4 disc with severe stenosis. I could not stand up straight or walk very far due to severe pain. Dr Bidiwala performed a L3/4 TLIF at Baylor uptown and the surgery went excellent. Pain gone. Uneventful recovery so far. I can't thank Dr Bidiwala enough for all that he has done for me. His office staff are excellent. Baylor Uptown hospital was excellent. Very caring and friendly. Nurses and techs were excellent. I would highly recommend. ~ ma C

In our opinion, Dr. Bidiwala has to be the best neurosurgeon in the business. He was very thorough in explaining what was wrong with my husband's back, what procedure needed to be done and patiently answered all of our questions. Surgery & recovery was great. Dr. Bidiwala's bedside manner was incredible and comforting!! Also, the follow-up visits in his office were thorough and unhurried. Best surgeon in Dallas. He is attentive, thorough, and his stitch work is amazing. I literally was feeling better within 2 weeks after my surgery. I had neck surgery on the front and back of my neck, and he had to remove 5 disk. It was literally an 8 hour surgery. When I tell you, I am back working full-time, driving, and exercising. Unbelievable! He also performed surgery on my father- In- Law and he is doing great. I would highly recommend Dr. Bidiwala. ~ Kelly F

I thank God for Dr. Shaad Bidiwala and his fabulous team at Baylor Hospital. In the winter of 2022, I slipped and hit my head, which triggered a very slow brain bleed. Symptoms begin to appear six weeks later, and by eight weeks after my fall I started losing control of my right arm and hand. My primary physician ordered a CT scan, and the imaging service sent me immediately to the Baylor emergency room. From that time on, my wife and I felt that I was receiving the best possible care. Dr. Bidiwala planned a two-step process that quickly stopped much of the bleeding and gave my body time to get ready for surgery. He then performed a craniotomy that completely stopped the bleeding and removed the accumulated blood that was starting to damage my brain. The Baylor trauma ICU team watched me carefully both before and after the surgery and helped keep my spirits up. During the week and a half that I was in the hospital, Dr. Bidiwala checked with me every day, explained what was going on, and helped me feel very assured that everything possible was being done to bring me back to health. I recommend Shaad Bidiwala and Baylor with the highest praise. ~ John R

Excellent experience and outcome with Dr. Bidiwala and his team. He was patient, attentive, and happy to explain and talk through all aspects of the surgery. I believe he’s truly a nice guy and his demeanor as a physician made all the difference in my first experience with significant in patient surgery. I went to see Dr. Bidiwala when I began having sever neck pain that was impacting my mobility and causing numbness. Dr. Bidiwala, was incredibly patient and kind. Dr. Shaad Bidiwala is a Great Doctor. Willing to explain things where you can understand what is wrong & what he's going to be doing in surgery. Dr. Bidiwala saved my life! He took a chance on me, did the surgery, and I no longer have the debilitating pain that had kept me in the hospital for 5 months!
